Amy Nelson is a resident of Keene, transplanted here from Madison, Wisconsin where she taught k-12 music in the public schools for 20 years and in a dual language charter school for five of those years. She got her masters degree at Vandercook College of Music and for the last three and a half years has taught k-12 general and choral music at Westport Central School here in the Adirondacks. She also performs regionally as a soloist, collaborating with a variety of artists in the area, from folk to jazz to opera. This offering is borne of a shared passion for the flavors of language and what a multicultural approach can do to connect us all to ourselves and each other.
